Summary:  

The Modeling, Simulation and Visualization Lead’s primary responsibilities are to support our customers strategic engagements with its current, extensive list of mission partners as well as grow the list of mission partners supporting and endorsing the Department of Defense program. This position will assist the customer by conceiving, generating, and delivering user-level visuals accurately depicting program capabilities, concepts of operation (CONOPS), and end to end mission integration. 

Technical, visualization support will be required in all phases of program development, acquisition, testing and demonstration for this program. Position also requires periodic support and review of other modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts would also allow the integration or adaption of new capabilities into existing modeling workflows. 

Working knowledge of industry standard Modeling and Simulation toolkits such as Systems Toolkit (STK), MATLAB, AFSIM and SimDis are highly desired.

Primary Duty Responsibilities:

  • Gather visualization requirements from customer to design and develop easy to understand visualizations of highly technical content to be used for presentation during strategic level engagements with customer’s key stakeholders.
  • Leverage knowledge of industry standard tools like AGI’s Systems Tool Kit and MATLAB to create visualizations and analysis products that enhance strategic communications for the Program Office with particular focus on campaign-level missions.
  • Document and animate Concepts of Operation (CONOPs) and Concepts of Employment (CONEMPs)
  • Liaison with stakeholders to ensure consistent understanding and common assumptions are accurately conveyed via visualizations, shared across geographically dispersed teams, and well-understood by audiences.
  • Advise and support program modeling and analysis efforts of advanced systems for which relevant test data exists. This includes clarification and visualization of measures of performance and measures of effectiveness during future test campaigns.

Required Experience:

  • 8 – 12 years related experience in DoD Operations
  • Technical Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related area
  • Must be familiar with DoD planning
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners
  • Substantial experience with AGI’s Systems Tool Kit (STK) and how it can be used to accurately display multi-domain operations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently and in teams to meet mission objectives
  • Capability to track and coordinate multiple simultaneous efforts
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel CONUS within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR)

Desired Experience:

  • DoD Operational Experience
  • Familiarity with AFSIM, SIMDIS or like Modeling and Simulation tools
  • STK Level 3 Certification

Security Clearance Required:

  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
  • Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph

Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
